Why am I trying to do digital art?

A few years back, I started taking a course in art, more to understand something about it, and not really with the intention to "Do Art." Then I discovered that there are digital tools that allowed me to progress beyond my initial simple and limited studies.
The mix of practical actions and results of digital photography with work on the computer (using virtual actions with programs like GIMP and Apophysis fractal generator and also Chaoscope and Mandelbulb3D) are still progressing, and not without some interesting results I believe. Thanks to you too. Unfortunately I feel I still have a lot to learn and improve. My gallery does seems to me to show some progress, although I still feel it's kind of amateurish. Even so, I appreciate your comments a lot. As an "old and cranky hippie" many of the uploads on mine that you see just don't cut it with me anymore
